FOUNTAIN
GO PISS GIRL
FOUNTAIN (2026) is the earnest attempt at creating a classical fountain of piss. This fountain exists in the artist's imagination in full technicolour Busby Berkely splendor. With a sprinkle of John Waters’ vulgarity. She is struggling to forge its way into fruition, using Home Depot shopping sprees and the power of friendship.
The project began with a rumination on piss, the substance and the act. Urination is a bodily function burdened by societal connotations. The act of pissing is at once intimate, and horribly commonplace, simultaneously gross, and also no big deal. It can be extremely gendered, but everybody pisses. There are many works of art depicting pissing figures, spanning back centuries, and a very small portion include women and girls. Our goal is to be the greatest work of go piss girl art in the history of the world.
A 5 minute version of FOUNTAIN was presented in 2024 in collaboration with Liam Murley, Rosemary Morrison, and Vivien Dang.
Toss in a coin and make a wish. Bird bath. Grandiose Vegas light show. In practical terms, the cycling of fluids for aesthetic pleasure. Water in calm, infinite looping abundance.
Taking the piss, pissing me off, getting absolutely piss drunk. Party girls squatting in dark alleyways. Pissing on summer lawns. Hiding in the bathroom, nylons at your knees. Gossiping with the girl in the next stall.
