In this solo performance, a she-devil takes accountability for all the horrors of the world, claiming responsibility for her many horrible, sinful, and undeniably cool inventions. Through physical comedy, innuendo, and ramshackle set design, the demonic woman presents a makeshift hellscape. How can we grapple with the evil of the everyday? Why does moralism fail us time and time again? A humorist piece about existential grief, guilt, and the pleasure of cringe, LIVE IN HELL presents us with pointing fingers, vulgar gestures, and self-obsession. In her clickedy-clackedy high heels, the she-devil takes an exaggerated sidestep into the world where “bad” things are good and the status quo is a death machine.

The winner of the Kathleen Flaherty Prize, LIVE IN HELL was presented as part of Vancouver's Fringe Festival in 2026.
